New volcano/Blu atomizer problems....

Post  angelicsins on Sat Dec 26, 2009 3:47 pm

i ordered 3 atomizers from volcano which are the same as blu model... my old one i had works fine. But i wore it out after 4 months of heavy vaping on it all the time. So it was time to change it. I popped the new one on and i got one good hit then the next hit after that was very little vapor. and the same hit after that did the same thing. i figured it was a bad atomizer. i threw a nother new one on there and it gave me a good hit with a new prefilled cart. but then i got just smoke and no flavor of the cart. i dripped on it thinking i could just start it but after that flavor wore off it was still a bland taste that wasnt the cart. is there a way i can get the liquid from the prefilled to jumpstart it and start pulling cart juice so i dont have to drip on it everytime? or get that wierd taste off. and after a few good hits its very thin vapor. someome plz help i refuse to think that i got 4 bad atomizer... i need a way to get it to pull from the carts. Just a few tips or tricks please?

Although Blu/Volcano claims that the atomizers work out-of-the-box, they really don't - atleast in my case. Continue vaping on it and eventually the weird taste and low vapor will subside. I usually vape on it (even though it's not enjoyable) until it heats up, then I give it a break and repeat the process. Do this a few times and your problems should be fixed.

Something I've noticed is that some cartridges from the manufacturer come defective. Are you hearing a whistling sound - like there's too much air flowing in? If so, wipe the silver part of the atomizer that you slide the cartridge over. Seems to be a bit of a problem and inevitably leads to low vapor production and a weird taste.

If you're not, then I'd reccomend opening a cartridge up and pulling the cloth to the top with a paperclip. Sometimes, the atomizer can't reach your liquid and will also result in the aforementioned fashion.

Good luck - if none of that works, just post here! Good luck and happy vaping!

i dont have much time so im just gonig to list what i tried

1. the more the atomizers get hot the less they produce. if i set it down and pick it back up 5 mins later its fine.

2. i tried 5 different cartridges out of 5 different boxes all do the same thing with the 3 attys

3.i do hear an air sound but its not whistling and when i pull the cotton forward it didnt do anything cause the atty pushed it right back down when i put the top on. hope that helps...

i heard something about the coils inside not touching the metal part possibly? im just trying to get some help.. casue i love volcanos service.. i was hoping it was not a bad batch and was going to order from blu just to see if theres work or its something else. i dont know what to do .
