So you're saying that was all for authorisation pings? That's madness. They need a new payment processor, methinks. Most online companies will ping your method of payment to see if its valid, but thats usually only a $1.00 charge that basically immediately goes away. It's pretty nuts that they are locking up 59 bucks for 3 days for a person for no reason. Seriously thats the sort of thing that happens when you get internet scammers. TBH I was a bit worried initially.
(Can you tell I work in billing. lol Also thanks! I was born in the 80s so I'm rather partial to the music.)

most companies do only place a $1.00 hold but I was pretty convinced it was an authorization? I'm a bartender myself, and in this example someones bank card was declined twice, so they checked the balance on their phone and paid the overage from their balance in cash. the card was accepted afterwards, and were i not to finalize and batch my card slips, they would have a $35.00 hold on their card untill i did so. unless i have this all backwards, which i might. im just curious more than anything.

All I'm saying is I've never seen an auth ping for any more than a buck, and they sure as hell don't stick around for more than about a day or less. I'm guessing Rocketgate (The pay service they use) is just a weird payment processor?
On that same line of thinking, I wouldn't mind if they allowed paypal as a valid method of payment for purchases. More and more companies are allowing paypal as a valid methos of payment, and its a lot more secure than using a credit card, a lot of times.

Re: You asked and he answered....
A couple questions I asked Jason today and got some answers for you guys....and gals.....he talks about a new customer service section on the blu cigs website in one of his answers.....go check it out.....
1......1......Is the customer service call center a part of blu cigs or is it a company that was hired by blu to take phone calls? Alot of people...including myself...seem to get different answers from customer service whenever we call reguarding our order....it seems like customer service isn't really in the loop as to whats going on at blu....
Jason Healy: Customer service is in house and sit directly below me in our building. The customer service issues and issues with information I have to say are largely my fault. As you know its been frantic here since day one and while we had a lot of systems in place we still weren’t able to foresee all the issues and questions etc that customers would have. I can tell you that we are learning and things are improving. I understand this may not be quick enough for some, including me, but it is happening.
2......2.....Is blu going to put something up on their website to let people know that there is a back order? Alot of people feel like they would like to know if somethings on back order before the place an order instead of finding out after they place the order in an e-mail
Jason Healy: We should be clear of this issue by the end of this month and in our new customer service page it gives a current update on status of orders with the expected delay
I again thank Jason for taking the time to answer these questions for you guys.....great of him to contribute to the forum.

Re: You asked and he answered....
Thats cool.
I too wish that they had made it clear to me before I placed my order. I had to wait like 12 days or something like that. Likely the reason is that if they said they were sold out, people would not place the order and then they would go to another supplier to buy and likely forget all about Blu and thier advertising. In a since, Blu would be paying for advertising for other companies. LOL!! I am sure they dont want that.

It's not that they are out of stock- its just they are overwhelmed by all of the orders, and they are a newbie company, and ill-equipped to handle it. I can dig. I been there.
once they are over the growing pains, it should be better.

Re: You asked and he answered....
Here is a question you should ask the extremely busy president of blue, If they have so many orders and have the product on hand why don't they just hire more people to fill the orders. Cant cost that much to hire someone to stuff something in a priority box and slap a label on it. Really doesn't make much sense to me that they cant catch up on there backlog of orders. Mine was ordered 12 days ago and is still pending. Goto some temp company and hire someone for 14 bucks a hour for a week or two and catch up already. I really hope this thing is worth the 3 or 4 week wait that it is going to take. Seems like this president of blu is just tip toeing around your questions and telling you what you want to hear. Starting to see why some people don't like this company on that other forum.

We are all frustrated, dude. I work in customer service so this shit ain't easy. I'm frustrated too- ordered mine slightly before you did (its been 2 weeks and 3 days, so about 13 business days.), and I'm not crazy about it either.
We're not sucking the CEO off here- chill plz.

Re: You asked and he answered....
nobody ever said blu had the product on hand...if they did I'm sure it would have been shipped.......I keep on saying this over and over again.....they are a new company that just launched in may...made the mistake of over advertising.....got way more orders than they expected....and are working to resolve the issue and be back on track by the end of the month....all new company's don't run smoothly in the beginning.....as soon as they get their shipments form china...they ship. It's not about having enough employees......and there's no reason for the people from the other forum not to like blu because none of them have even tried blu.....if anything they should be praising blu for bringing attention to e-cigarettes.....which is bringing new members to their forum...which is creating more business for e-cigarette company's and lots of more business for liquid company's.aktopjian wrote:Here is a question you should ask the extremely busy president of blue, If they have so many orders and have the product on hand why don't they just hire more people to fill the orders. Re: You asked and he answered....
Have you asked him if his supplier can keep up with his orders or his company cant afford to order enough at a time to fill the orders that they are receiving? Oh and a few post above this someone said that the problem is that there not out of stock its the time it takes to ship the orders out that is taking so long. that is what I was talking about in my last post. So someone did say they had the product on hand.
