I've been using my Blu for about a month now and have noticed that I no longer have a hacking smokers cough, but seem to have more phlegm buildup in my throat. I was wondering if it was my bodies way of clearing out all the bad stuff from years of analog smoking or could it be a slight PG allergy? Has anyone else experienced this and is it normal?

Hey all, Okelliegh here and I'm new to this world. I got my Blu Cigs last Tuesday and as much as I like them I was expecting something a little more.

So now I would love some input from you veteran vapers...

If you had the opportunity to by a good starter kit, which one would it be?

I've narrowed it down to three but would like some input on which is best.

The Volcano, the Revolver and a Joye 510 Mega kit. All three of these have everything that I am looking for as far as a kit from ...

Now there are about 6 of us, with potentially more, using ecigs. A few have seen that vaporizers are allowed to be used in doors in many places and have used their ecigs on the work floor.
I quit smoking probably 2 years ago. I don't think my body forgot. I seem to still perceive smoking and how it would help me to this day.

As I am thinking about my upcoming vaping, it is as if my body understands this and knows about the nicotine it is about to start recieving again...

I am starting to have this sneaking suspicion that nicotine addiction is life long...

I am not sure if I am just not that picky or maybe I got lucky. I use the Blu, the Volcano and a joye 510. Personally I love all three.

Complaint 1: Carts don't last. Hmm they are alot smaller then the 510, so they don't hold as much juice.

Complaint 2: Battery doesn't last long enough. Again Hmm, the battery is much smaller. PCC takes care of the battery issue.

Complaint 3: Blu carts are inconsitant at best when it comes to vapor and throat hit. So very true. But once you ...

I have to first state that objectively the Volcano is a superior model and I can only recommend purchasing it instead of the Blu. This is due to the atomizer which corrects an engineering flaw in the Blu (they made theirs too short).

Since I ordered the Blu before I knew this I have been able to come up with the following initial setup:

Blu system $59.95

Volcano atomizer $4.95

5 Volcano cart caps (for secure refilling) $5.82

3-pack of Ejuice blue foam $8.05

First off, my blucig is my first electronic cigarette, but i've been trying to do my research lately and I can't tell if I'm doing something wrong or blucigs actually aren't all they're cracked up to be.

When I first started smoking a week ago, it was wonderful (except that one of my atomizers was totally dead from the get-go). I would do 1 or 2 short puffs followed by a long easy inhale. The good atomizer would produce a decent amount of smoke and flavor and I could smoke pretty much as ...

I have an oral fixation, which is hard to satisfy in that I can't constantly eat, and food isn't constantly available anyway. So long story short, I tried one of my friends blus, out of curiosity not even thinking about it, and it totally satisfied the fixation, and the flavor wasn't bad either.
Okay, so I have a blucig starter kit coming in the mail,BUT I'm debating whether or not to keep it or send it back. I used to smoke here and there when I was younger, and I've just recently started back up, and this time I want to do the obvious, and go with an ecig to be healthy. I don't smoke heavy, and I don't take long/hard pulls. So my question was with an ecig is it really just like smoking a cigarette, like they say, or is it a must that I have to take a long/hard puff just to get the ...

I know I am crazy. I have recently got on the Ecig bandwagon again after almost quitting with my BLU. I actually liked the BLU, but they stopped selling the Menthol I liked. BLU started using Johnson Creek liquid in there pre-filled carts and I can't stand it! Some people like the JC liquid, so it is a matter of opinion. So I was suggested Volcano Pre-filled cartridges and also got old BLU carts from Charlie at AquaVapor. When ordering through Volcano, I ended up buying a small "ala cart" ...

So I'm new to the electronic cig and from the brief research i picked up a blu cig starter pack. It seemed like the best bang for the buck and so far i'm impressed.

I received it on Thursday and haven't smoked an analog since, from a 2 pack a day habit to just vaping about 2 carts a day (maybe 3 if i'm drinking) so what you read about their carts is true, i'm not impressed. they say it's over a pack of cigs per cart and they are absolutely incorrect. 10 cigarettes at best, the flavors ...

Here is my review of the Blu and my take on it being new to vaping and new to this forum so bare with me

I have only had it about 3 days but so far so good. I used my friends joye 510 and i liked it hence why i started even looking up e-cigs. But i did not like the manual battery or how long it was. Maybe after i have been vaping for a while ill see the beauty in them, but at the moment the Blu definably fits the bill in size and feel.

Hi all...

This is geared towards new users and possible new users of the Blu.

It's unfortunate that Blu got a bit of a bad reputation in the past because of customer service and shipping issues and such. Currently those are all resolved from what I've seen. And Blu is a great product.

I could see a newbie getting frustrated with their new Blu or other e-cigs for that matter so I figured I'd share my success with the Blu.

I love my Blu. It's sexy, nice size and if you use it right ...

Does anyone know who the provider of the old tobacco flavor is? I recently ordered the starter kit with the original tobacco flavor and it was the best smoking experience I ever had. I then ordered an additional 50 tobacco cartridges only to find out the new ones were from Johnson Creek and didn't even mildly resemble tobacco, instead it was like vanilla ice cream. This is a huge setback for Blu imo and I'm now back to analogs until they (hopefully) bring the old flavor back or tell us where ...

Hi all,

I got a new Blu yesterday and I've been using the thing for a day. However to my extreme disappointment, I have noticed that the battery life of either of my batteries does not exceed 30 minutes. Also, even when I use a brand new cartridge, I fail to really taste the vapor. Instead, it just tastes kind of burnt to me. After some continuous vaping, I also notice that the cig gets very hot (not just warm, but hot enough that I have to put it down).

Has anyone ever experienced this? ...

Hi All,

I just got my Blu today with the variety cartons which are full flavor. I tried out the VV and to be honest it seems harsh. I'm not taking big drags off from it either. Pretty much every review I've seen on this people say its not harsh.

Just to be sure it wasn't just that one, I tried the cherry and it was even worse. Does the full flavor ones tend to be more harsh?

Thanks for any feedback on this.

and OMGZ!#@! i couldn't be more thrilled with it. Vapor production is PHENOMENAL, flavor is excellent. i got my PCC at the same time and it's so slick. only thing i have yet to test is the battery life (which im fine with however long it lasts) and the cart duration. These are fairly largecarts, well, compared to the Blu. Even if they dont last as long as i'd like i can always get the MEGA atomizer with the mega carts. So anyways, first thoughts: I'm ecstatic with my 510! LOVIN' IT!

okay i just ordered a blu cig, after i use up all 25 carts that it comes with i would like to refill the carts, but my questions are

1* would i be able to fill up lets say two or three carts and put them in the PCC and not have to worry about leaking fiulds?

2* how long does a refilled cart last "YOU"? just to get an idea...

3* should i use a different cart then the stock Blu's? maybe ones with a cap/cover, and would they still fit in the PCC?

This is were I am at:

I got my blu on Monday. Finished the 25 carts by today. Got my ELP shipment in today. Right now hating my blu....

I really really really wanted to like this product. Read, watched, and debated so many reviews before i bought it. At first i thought the carts were just bad, and when i got liquid everything would be great. No matter is i drip or refill I am not getting any throat hit or good vapor. There were a few carts that produced a great hit and vapor for a little ...

Hello all.

I have been reading this forum for awhile, and just registered today. First off, I got to say all the info on here has been very helpful. Thanks!! Though, I want to talk about the carts a little more. I know they seem pretty hit or miss (and usually miss), but i already went through 8 carts in 32 hours, which 2 of them completely failed on me. I have removed the foil, didn't remove the foil, fluffed the wool, and any other crazy idea i could think of. So, I bought some liquid ...

Ive posted a few times at e-cig-forum, but as it is well known here, theres not a whole lot of love for the blu over there. I did my share of research and finally decided on the blu. Got it today and i love it. Im getting great vapor, a good throat hit, and am overall very pleased with it. Im not a heavy smoker to begin with, Im a clove smoker and only smoked one about once a day, sometimes more at the bar. So Im just looking for a replacement.

Ive been smoking it off and on for about 5 hours ...

Okay, I got my blu starter kit in the mail on Monday at 1145am EST. Elated, I read the directions very carefully and then plugged one battery into the USB charger right off. I figured out a good charge time after reading several reviews would be about 9 hours.

After that initial elation, it went downhill from there.

It looks like one of the atomizers is damaged - some of the wick(?) is peeling off to the side and sticking out. The other is a smooth upside down V in shape.

Around 11pm, ...

I got my Blu starter kit a week after Christmas 09. Everything in the starter pack worked fine for about 2 1/2 weeks. Then the atomizers needed replacing (or at least the replacement atomizers I ordered from them worked better). When I ordered the new atomizers, I also ordered 10 packs. Nine of which I haven't even bothered to open for a month now because: 1) my epack no longer charges the batteries 2) I was running through carts in 6 hits... giving me a terribly nasty burnt cotton taste.

How long is a battery good for? Not just how long you can use it before you have to recharge it - but how long can you keep recharging it before it just won't take a charge anymore? Some other e-cigs say the battery is good for 150-ish charges. That would be about two months of charging it two-three times a day. Does that sound about right for the BLU? Also, how do you know when it is about time to retire a battery? I got mine off the classifieds, so I have no idea how many times they have been ...
