Hi everybody, fairly new to vaping and bought a BLU starter kit back in Dec. lots of awesome advice to think about, I like most people I've read about here have had issues with the consistency of the BLU, however since getting some TC from Johnson and filling the orig. blu carts my experience is much better,but I'm filling up carts. all the time and charging my 3 batts. one after another. I've tried using the m401 carts but not happy about how they draw even after pulling it back from the atty. didn't really seem to get as much vapor as the stock blu carts when both were full, but maybe that's just me.And I think I wear out a Blu batt. in about 30 or 40 mins. sometimes less, so I need you're help people, I'm thinking about going with the revolver gemini or even a 510, but somewhere I read that I could get a sideSho batt. to fit my blu atty. so what should I do? Do away with the Blu and get another brand or try this mod. Really hate to spend more money on another kit especially since my blu has some of the stuff that would come in a new kit.

The Sidesho batts from Modern Vapor fit on a blu and work well. I'm using an old Sidesho usb chargher for my blus right now. The only problem is, the sidesho batt is longer, so it won't fit in your PCC.

As for the 510 - I didn't care for it. It burned too hot and all of my juice tasted funny. I can't give an opinion on the gemini, as I have't tried it.

Volcano is coming out with a new nodel later this month. It is supossed to be bigger and better. I'm guessing it will be either a 510 type PV or something bigger but compatable witht he L88b. (Don't quote me on that, I am just guessing here) You might want to wait to see what that is before you make your decision.

The Revolver Elite is a step up from the L88B/Blu. The Gemini is even better! And they are both big sellers. The singer for Breaking Benjamin uses the Gemini. The singer and guitar player from Three Days Grace both use the Elite.

Welcome to the forum. I know you said in your post that you don't really want to spend more money on another kit but all of the other kits mentioned you will have to charge batteries throughout the day. I have been using the tornado from totally wicked exclusively. What's great about it is that you can go through one battery a day....so no charging batteries throughout the day. You buy a nice steel tip for it and you can just drip so no filling carts throughout the day either. I just put a fresh battery on in the morning and it lasts me until I go to bed. Carry a bottle of juice with ya and drip a few drops onto the atty and your ready to vape without having to fill carts throughout the day. It uses a 510 atty and vapes really nice. Wish they had something like this when I first started vaping. Anyway.....if you have any other questions just feel free to ask.
