Re: My Tornado Review
Well, I believe the first cart I pulled out of the bottle was filled with RY4, so I topped off the cart with about 10 drops of Revolver's RY4 juice....
EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE
This thing hits, and hits, and hits, and......
Yeah, I'm really digging it...

Flavor is NOT as intense as a AquaVapor RN4081, a Smoore M601, or even a good-working M401 or Revolver Elite, but the vapor is SMOOOOOTH and draws REAL nicely......
The Tornado is definitely a WINNER!

Re: My Tornado Review
i know it sneakes up on you like the black beast in the night....... then when your not expecting it, cool menthol vapers so thick you could cut with a knife draw into your lungs, you watch what just happened as you blow out more white clouds than chinese laundry mat. Then you realize......... you've been struck by the tornado

Re: My Tornado Review
I just got a 510-901/808 adapter and some cartomizers from www.goodprophets.com and tried them out on my Tornado...
I'm not disliking it, at all... It's lasting... And consistent...

Re: My Tornado Review
I just visited TW's site and noticed that they just got the black Tornado resupplied, over 400 units in stock!
For anyone interested in one, feel free to use my promo coupon code to get 7.5% off your order: C3176
I think I'm going to eventually order a white battery and cone, and a black battery and cone, then will have all three colors

I've used nothing else for the last 2 days.... the Tornado is a good, solid performer

Re: My Tornado Review
I picked up a black one from TW just for giggles. Works nice.
I did notice a neat little bonus extra that I haven't seen mentioned though.
The TW tornado comes with a stainless steel colored "battery adapter" which allows the use of standard 510 chargers with the tornado battery. The bonus I found is that, if you put the adapter on the battery and attach the cone, you can use L88b (Blu/Volcano) attys and carts as well.
If someone else mentioned it already, I apologize.

Re: My Tornado Review
The review sold me on this instantly, while comparing the tiny clouds I was vaping from my volcano, to the storms that were coming from the tornado. It arrived today, along with a 510 passthrough, and a mulitpack of extra attys [learning from one's mistakes is key

Finger poised on the checkout button
I have been debating the tornado for a while now, and tax return is in...
Through the great advice here I have greatly enjoyed my new vaping life with my 510, and even my Blu! The Fluval Foam replacement of the carts on both models made a WORLD of difference. Also, the 510 has made me enjoy the use of a manual battery!! I thought I would be all auto, but i have run into the problem of my blu's being too sensitive (it is a constant light show inside of the PCC) and the 510 auto needing a hard draw, or it will cut out.
Any new opinions on the tornado after a bit of use? Any changes you made to it from it's "factory setting"? Are you still head over heels?

You can use the l88b atty and cart just fine without the adapter, it's just kind of short if you choose to use the cone

Tornado Review Questions answered.

Hey Nikko, I'm sure you get alot of PM from people but I wanted to PM you because I read you got one of these Tornado cigs from Totally Wicked and just had a few questions to ask before I consider buying one.
1) does the battery last all day?
2) what is the size or this item? (looks big)
3) i see it produces alot of vapor. how does it taste?
4) since it is a 510, can you use Revolver gemini attys and does this make better?
5) are the carts that come with it bigger than gemini carts
6) if you use the Gemini atty, do you have to use Gemini carts?
7) I currently have the Revolver Elite and while I like it alot, that Tornado seems to vape like mad. How do you compare the two.
By the way, as my lungs have been clearing out, the taste of the Revolver juice has been getting more flavorful. I also took your advise and ordered some juice from mstsbakery. Can't wait for it too come in.
Thanx for any advise on this.
FROM NIKKO:
Hi Ghiadon,
Why don't you post this in the regular forum so everyone else can benefit from the responses?
1. yes
2. about 1/4" longer than a regular 510, assembled
3. better than I thought it would, still not as tasty as a Revolver Elite or a 401
4. yes, yes
5. I think they're about the same in capacity but the Gemini carts are a bit different.
6. I believe you do... I tried a regular 510 cart and it wouldn't stay on, just a bit loose, but I forget if it was the regular Gemini atty or the hard-hitter, and the difference is small, but noticeable when you try different carts!
7. They are totally different animals. I like them both. The Elite doesn't make as much vapor as the Gemini but has better flavor. The Gemini produces better flavor than an older model 510 I have but not quite as much vapor. So, as far as flavor goes, I'd say:
1-Elite
2-Gemini
3-older style 510
As far as vapor production goes, I'd say:
1-older style 510
2-Gemini
3-Elite
Now I've also had other Joye 510 attys that didn't do as well as my original one and the Geminis are NOT produced by Joye. Joye has a reputation of inconsistent quality control...
